Koh Chang Thailand

The last 5 days we have been at the Amari Emerald Cove Resort in Koh Chang. We have been here before, the last time was 3 years ago for 4 days of which 2 of those 4 Jim was sick in bed so we weren’t able to do our snorkel trip. Since then, I’ve always been wanted to come back and do what we missed out on. It’s nice to come back to a place that is familiar, esp after being on the go so much in the last couple of weeks. Plus, it’s such a dreamy place, nice & relaxing:

So basically our daily routine has been: Sleep, work out, shower, breakfast, pool/beach relaxation, shower, dinner, repeat.

We did our snorkel boat trip and explored a few other islands off Koh Chang. So that is out of my system, but I am not sure Koh Chang is. Might have to come back another time!

Will post pics later, for now we are at the Trat Airport heading on a 1 hour flight to Bangkok, then to Hong Kong for tonight and home to LA tomorrow. It went so fast, but we are ready to be home!

I imagine I will have another bout of jet lag waiting for me at home if I can’t post more videos & pics before then.

Shots & Hotel Bookings

Well, we’re getting shots today. 😦 I feel like a kid getting immu shots. I hope this ends with a lollipop.

My dad called yesterday, he heard something on the news about problems in S. Thailand; he wasn’t sure the details but wanted us to check it out since we have S. Thailand on our list too. We are checking Travel Advisory daily.

Jim is studying TripAdvisor and we will book hotels this weekend.

We are getting excited!

Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand Trip Planning

Chiang Mai Thailand

We loved our trip to Thailand a few years ago, and are eager to explore some neighboring countries that we didn’t get to yet.

So far we’ve booked our round-trip travel to Vietnam, and have applied for our visas. This weekend we will book hotels and flights for once we arrive there. We’re no travel agents, so it takes us a while to figure out the logistics! It’s an adventure trying to figure it out, and checking on Trip Advisor for different ideas on where to go (or not).

From time to time, we can be indecisive where to go or what to eat, so we’ll take advantage of the nifty Poll thingy that comes along with this blog site. 🙂 It will be an interactive way to help us when we get stuck. Let’s give it a try:

And stay tuned, because I am sure I will ask you later if I should dare try the Kopi Luwak?

We’re getting excited, and hope you will follow us on our journey!
