Waking up in Hanoi

Waking up in Hanoi

View from hotel room in Hanoi

We woke up to sounds of scooters, buses and people talking around 7:30a.m. Not too noisy, it was a nice way to wake up. It was a nice reminder that we are finally here! We are not too jet-lagged (I don’t think)…we will see how we feel this afternoon.

We went down for breakfast and had a tasty omlet, coffee and orange juice. The hotel is so quaint and nice! More details on that later.

Then we walked over to the lake, and had a nice run. Our goal is to work out an hour a day while we are here, so far so good!

Hi Melinda. I’m enjoying your blog and living vicariously through you! I loved Hanoi. There’s a big, really pretty park with lots of greenery. I’m sure you’ll find it. Have fun, be safe and keep up the good work with your blog! Love, Betsi

    • Hi Betsi! Thanks for reading. 🙂 Do you mean the big park with the statue of Stalin? Across from the Flag Tower & Army Museum? So far, that is the only park we have come across, but we are exploring a bit more today. Well keep reading, more to come! 🙂
